Our mission is simple: To tell stories using video, pictures, music, and compelling interviews. We have created and aired several documentaries for PBS stations with a focus on History and Natural History. We currently have several programs in various stages of production for air and online distribution in the coming months.

To pay the bills, we put this machine to work to help promote and grow small businesses using old-fashioned but high quality video storytelling.

We sell what is special about your business – and identify those memorable “stories inside the story.”

We place a special focus on looking for “demonstration TV” opportunities that help customers understand your product.

We mix interviews, narration, music, photographs, and High Definition video to create a professional-caliber production.

Brent Baader
With 35 years experience in television news, Brent has developed the technical and creative skills to craft a video that can show the uniqueness of your business to the world. After graduating from San Jose State University, he worked as a producer and news director at several top stations around the country in places like Portland, New Orleans and Denver. In Sacramento, Brent created the highly successful morning show Good Day Sacramento. Good Day frequently showcases new and existing businesses to viewers, and Old Strand uses some of those same techniques to help sell your business and craft interesting historical documentaries.

Joan O'Connell
Joan is the business and planning side of the team. After she graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics, Joan worked for Intel Corporation for 20 years. She understands the marketing and financial goals of business.
